Put In Bay

Last week we too a family trip to Put-In-Bay. We went with mom and Dave, Luke & Rachel, Jenna, Dan, and Lisa, Larry & Lindsey. Parker had a blast. There was a lot of things for her to do. We enjoyed dinner every evening at one of the restaurants. We had my favorite Lobster Bisque. It's world famous there! Here's the site: http://www.boardwalklobsterbisque.com/

The first night we were there we saw this big slug on the deck. Parker was so funny with it. She wouldn't touch it. And when she finally did, she said, "It's so slimy!"

We went to the Butterfly House at Perry's Cave and saw lots of butterflies. Here is a Monarch I saw sitting on a leaf. It was really neat to have the butterflies just flying all over you. http://www.perryscave.com/public/attractions/butterfly_house/

Here is a picture of Harper and I enjoying some wine at one of the winerys. (She wasn't of course!) She was tearing the place up. Notice the chair on the ground in the left of the picture. We also had to shut that door behind us because she kept going in and stealing the fake display grapes.

Here is a picture of Matt and the girls watching the sunset over Lake Erie. Harper enjoyed sticking her feet in the water.

This is a picture of our house, The Chalet at the Bay. It had 4 bedrooms and slept 13. There was a great fire pit and a swingset out back. We were close enough to everything, but far enough away too!

Another thing Parker LOVED to do was mining for gems. She also did this at Perry's Cave Family Fun Center. She was very proud of her finds! We also played put put there.

All in all, it was a great relaxing, yet interesting vacation. We will definately go back because we didn't do everything we planned on doing there!
