My Dancing Queen!

This weekend, Harper ate cereal for the first time! She had her 4 month appointment last Wednesday and I got the OK to give her cereal. She did really well eating with a spoon. Parker was very excited that sissy was eating cereal. She fed her a little bit of it too!

I had Harper's 4 month pictures taken (because I didn't get it done when she was 3 months) at Wal-Mart. They did a great job I think. But, they weren't any cheaper than Kiddie Kandids and you had to wait to pick up the pictures for a week.

Eeating cereal!
Messy girl!
I love this one.
She looks like she is praying.
That spot was on my scanner, not her head!
Aww!
Holding sissy's hands.

I was cleaning the house and Parker was up in her room playing. She came down stairs and asked if I wanted to see her show! I cracked up at what she was wearing. Her OSU jersey, a princess tiara, her guitar, her tappin' shoes, her dress up skirt, and carrying her microphone!

I asked if I could get the camera and tape her. She said, "Sure." This is one video you gotta see:) She is singing her ABC's and her "Tappin Shoe" song. (It is from her favorite group- The Doodlebops) The video came out really dark. It wasn't that dark in the house!

Labor Day was NO BIG FISH STORY!!!!

My big fish!!!! (notice it is about the same height as Parker!)
Oh Wow! (That's what Parker kept saying!)
Notice Matt's shoe next to his head. Looks quite small!
It's as long as my leg!!!
Parker peeking out the camper door.
Sisters! Enjoying the Labor Day Festival.
She fell asleep about 20 minutes later in this chair!
Beautiful Sunset.
Doughnuts and Chocolate milk for breakfast!
Grandpa and Harper sitting by the fire.

This weekend was so great! We camped out in the camper at Matt's parents house Saturday and Sunday nights. We parked it by the pond in the front and had a nice campfire. We roasted marshmallows and made smores. We also made hotdogs over the fire! It was Parker's first experience camping. Of course we di
didn't "rough it". We were hooked up to electricity so we had lights. The second night, Parker fell out of bed all wrapped up in her blanket. She was trapped and couldn't get out! It was cute:)

Sunday morning we went to the Labor Day festival with grandma. Same junk as usual!

Sunday night we catfished as we sat by the fire. I don't know how I managed it, but I reeled in an 18 lb. catfist. It was so long and it put up quite a fight! I would have to say that up until last night, the longest fish that I have ever caught was close to a foot! Not now and I have pictures to proove that it wasn't a "big fish story!"

Brad and Kyle brought the kids over for a while and they were just about to leave when I caught the big one! Alix didn't want to leave then. She wanted to stay and fish. After we put it back in the pond, Parker said, "Let's go catch it again mom!"

All in all, it was a nice relaxing weekend with the family. I'm afraid that Parker is going to want to go camping everytime we visit grandma and grandpa now!
