Where were you 4 years ago?????

My how time flies! Four years and two kids later! Tonight is Matt & I's 4th anniversary. I thought I'd share some of the pictures. It was a good night! 60 degrees! We had just survived a major snow storm and little did we know that a week later we would survive the ice storm! A nice way to spend your honeymoon ;) I can say that not only was it a great day, but a lucky one!
2008 was great! Here's to a fine 2009!

What a day....

******FOR SOME REASON, THIS WILL NOT LET ME POST AS I USUALLY DO. ALL OF THE PICTURES ARE OUT OF ORDER. JUST THOUGHT I'D LET YOU KNOW IN ADVANCE.********
The girls in their matching jammies at Mamaw & Papaw Ross'.
Harper with her singing stage from Santa at our house.
Parker's camera took this picture of her with her Pappy at Mamaw & Papaw Maier's.

Parker took this lovely picture of me. She didn't do too bad!

Parker before she ate the cookies on Christmas Eve!

Harper on her Horse at Grandma & Grandpa Pwood's.
Papaw Ross and his girls Christmas morning.

Last night we went to Matt's parent's house for Pwood Christmas. Girls got spoiled! Riley got this game called Blockus. It was much fun! It made me use my brain. We made homemade Pizza's. My favorite was the Hawaiian. Tasty! Parker was very excited when she saw her Little People Castle. She loves princesses. Harper liked her pony. It was so cute when she tried to make it Giddie up! She also liked the paper and boxes...of course!

We came home and got everything out for Santa. Parker left him 3 cookies, 3 Hershey Kisses, some carrots and chocolate milk. Before she went to bed, he had 2 Hershey Kisses, 1/2 of the chocolate milk, and several bites missing from the cookies. It was too funny. She just couldn't stop eating them. The girls both went right to bed. However, Harper kept waking up. It could've been the excess amount of Coke that I had earlier. :) My fault I guess. ....if your wondering what they heck I'm talking about, I'm still nursing!
My dad and Becky came first thing this morning to watch the girls open their gifts. Parker was very excited when she woke up. Santa brought her a "Darbie" house. He was so silly. He put her Barbies in the rooms. She thought it was hilarious. I think her favorite gift from our house, was the microphone stand that Harper gave her. Now she can sing Hannah Montana all the time. Harper again, loved the paper. We got Parker a Fisher Price digital camera. She took pictures with it throughout the day. She did pretty good!

At 10:30 we went to mom and Dave's for breakfast and gifts. Parker loved her DeeDee Doodlebop costume. Mom also got her the cutest Fisher Price Nativity scene. She plays with the one at church that is just like it. She knows most of them, but she often confused with Joseph. She calls him God. Makes sense.

1:30 we went to my Grandma & Grandpa Ross' house. The girls got matching motorcross jammies from Aunt Kim. They tried them on for us! By that time, both girls were gettting sleepy. It was a nice visit with my grandma. She was well enough to sit at the table and eat lunch with us. But, she was very tired. Time goes by too fast.
3:30 at Mamaw & Papaw Maier's. Parker was VERY tired by this point. She was fascinated with a snow globe that my grandma got her. I got my fire safe that I had been wanting. I know, weirdo. I also got sheets. I'm practical when it comes to gifts. I got 2 alarm clocks! I think people are trying to tell me something. I think I'll use both! I may need to after Christmas break!

We finally got home around 6:30 and settled in. It was a L O N G day!

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas!

Concerned Parent!

Yesterday we received a package of presents from my family in Southern Ohio. Parker opened them all up. One of the gifts she received was a set of 6 dolls that looked like the princesses. Parker has been mispronouncing the word Barbie for some time now. She calls them Darbies. Anyway, the Cinderella doll rattles for some reason. There must be something stuck inside it. I took the head off to see if I could find what it was. That didn't work. It just gave Parker an idea.

Matt and I were watching TV and Parker had taken off all 6 heads of her Darbies. She put them on her fingers and was waving them around like puppets. It was a bit disturbing! I've attatched a video! I'm beginning to wonder if we should be concerned!

She looks so evil in this picture.

Family Photos

We had our picture taken for our Church directory last month. We got the pictures back the other day. I thought I'd put them on for all to see! We killed 3 birds with one stone. We got Harper's 7 month pictures (I was behind, no 6 month pictures), Parker's 3rd birthday picture, and our family photo.

This one is my favorite! I've never seen one like this. We're all in the picture, but you only really see the kids.

Getting ready for Santa!

Parker not wanting to have anything to do with Jolly ol' Saint Nick!
I couldn't help but crack up!

Harper eating her first cookie, a Biter Biscuit! She loved all of it!
Lots of cookies!
Parker "painting" cookies. She made some really pretty ones!
We are getting ready for Santa here! The tree is up, the stockings are hung, and the cookies are done! We made appox. 20 dozen cookies last weekend. Partly, because I am in a cookie exchange at work and we have to bring 8 dozen cookies for it. The good thing is that we'll leave with a nice variety of 8 dozen cookies! (There are 15 of us doing it) I made Lemon and Strawberry Whippersnappers. They are so easy!
I also made cut-out-cookies (from scratch) and peanutbutter blossom cookies. Needless to say, weight watchers is on hold until after Christmas!

Matt and I took Parker to see Madagascar II at the movies. They had Santa there. She wanted nothing to do with him. She wouldn't even look at him.

Harper is eating some Gerber snacks now. She loves the little puffs that dissolve in your mouth and the biter biscuits. She also likes the wagon wheel cookies. She just crawled up by me and she stinks AGAIN! I'm going to have to buy stock in Huggies or Pampers. She is going through them constantly:) Getting over a virus, and the anti-biotics don't help either!

She is still standing up to things and strolling along the couch. I am SOOO not ready for her to start walking. At least then all the stuff on the floor won't matter anymore. I'll have to worry about things on the tables!

New things!

Happy Early Birthday Jesus!
Decorating the cake. Looks good huh!

Parker went to Christmas School last week for 3 days. They teach them about the real meaning of Christmas. I went and watched on the 3rd day. It was so neat to see her in that environment. I was like a fly on the wall. She got to be baby Jesus in their puppet show. It was too cute. Michelle did a great job with the kids. I don't think I'm that patient. I work with 6 year olds all day, don't think I could do 3 and 4 year olds. Then they made a cake for Jesus' birthday and they decorated it. It was Beautiful!!! Looked good enough to eat:) And they did.
Harper is now standing up and holding on to things with one hand. She has also discovered how to escape from my cage in the living room! I've used big items (like Parker's little trampoline and the ottoman) to block off the dinning room. She can now climb on them and go over. I need a really big baby gate! She is fast too! If she sees paper on the floor it is in her mouth before I even get out of my seat to stop her. She loves to eat paper. Or try to!

Harper playing with Parker's old House.

Harper standing up.

Turkey Day!

It was pretty chaotic, as is any holiday. We started out at my mom's house, then headed to Matt's parents house, and ended up at my grandma and grandpa Ross' house. I over ate as usual!

My sister-in-law and I went shopping on Black Friday. We went to the stores here. I love getting up at 4:30 to go shopping. I wish they did it every weekend in December too!
Parker's new bike for her birthday!
Harper in her Thanksgiving shirt!
Harper and Grandma Norma at Thanksgiving.
I love taking pictures of hands!

Then we headed down to see my grandma Mauck in southern Ohio. Overate some more! It was worth it though, because I got to eat my favorite, Stewart's Hot Dogs and Root Beer (the original).

Oh, yeah, I turned 30 also. But I kinda forgot!

Happy Birthday Parker!

Parker turned 3 on the 26th. I've been pretty bad about posting lately! Her good bud, Aiden turned 3 on my birthday, the 29th. Kyle and I took them to Chuckie Cheese for their bdays. Kendall, Riley, and Alix came too.

Parker was so funny. She told me, I'm not scared of Chuckie Cheese mommy, I'm 3. She also told me she was going to go up in the tubes to play, because she was 3 and wasn't scared anymore!! She did. I was proud of her. She is still a little scared of Chuckie though.

The birthday kids!

This is about how close she would get to him!

Kendall agreed!
The kids waiting for cake.

3!Dancing on the stage with the fake Chuckie (she was fine with him!)

Opening up her new "ontar" (guitar) from Harper. It's a Hannah Montana "Hannah and Tana"!
