Making Jam

Over the weekend, Parker, Riley, My Grandma Ann, and I made 5 batches of yummy strawberry jam. We had a nice assembly line going. We cleaned an entire peck of berries! Parker and I tried out the jam this morning and had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches after church! It tasted yummy:)

Dirt Biking with Dad

What a cute smile she has! She enjoyed watching daddy!
Matt getting some air!
Parker and her daddy.
Parker and Johnny.
Future rider:)
Today we went to West Mansfield to watch Matt and Greg ride their dirt bikes. Parker brought along the neighbor boy, Johnny. They had a blast watching Matt and Greg do the jumps. Harper was completely content lying in the lawn chair. She liked looking up at the trees.

Poor Baby!

Friday night, I removed Harper's socks and noticed that her toe looked strange. There was a hair wrapped around it very tight. I removed the hair and it still looked as though there was a hair on it. I took her to the ER and they said I got it all. It was the weirdest thing! I had just read about it in a magazine too. I'm glad I caught it when I did! She would've been minus a few tips of her toes!

Picture day!

She looks just like Parker.
She looks a little red here!

We recently had pictures taken of the girls. They did so well and the pictures turned out pretty good too!

Trip to the pool and the park

Parker took a trip to the city pool with her pal Austin. (He is the one who told her to throw her binky away). We also went to the park and took a walk and then played on the playground.

Parker's Helmet!

Over the weekend, Parker threw her binky away. It was a funny how she did it. She was talking on the phone to one of her friends and he threw his binky away and told her to throw hers away. So, she did! We told her that we would buy her a present for throwing it away and she decided that she wanted a helmet to go with her 4 wheeler. We rode with Matt to a dirt bike store on Sat. and picked up her new pink helmet, complete with monsters on the sides. She also scored a jersey.

She has carried it with her all weekend. She even put it on with her church dress. It matched of course!

She has almost forgotten about the binky!

Parker and Harper's first Blog!

Several of my friends are creating these blogs for their kids. It is a great way for family members to see photos and videos often! I decided to try it too!

Here are some recent pictures that I have taken of our family.

We went to Indian Lake on father's day and fed the ducks. It is becoming a father's day tradition between Matt and his girls. (I used to do this with my dad when I was little.)

Parker threw an entire hot dog bun in the water instead of breaking it into little pieces!
