Happy Halloween:)

Parker and Her Pumpkin

Taking off the top.
Pulling out the guts!
The finished products.
All lit up.
With Mamaw & Papaw Ross.
Her first customer! Our neighbor Erika.
Riley & Parker.
Yummy!

We carved our pumpkins the other day. Parker helped me dig out the guts and once I popped out the first eye, she was done. I then carved the other two on my own. Oh well, at least she helped a little bit. She wanted me to put a scary face, a happy face, and a silly face on the pumpkins.

We went trick or treating with Riley last night. Riley was Steve Erkel. Parker a.k.a. Cinderella, made it for about an hour, but daddy had to come pick us up. She couldn't finish out the last half hour. She did really well. I had to reminder her at each house to say trick or treat and thank you, and she said it. She was very shy and scary costumes scared her. We ended up taking turns carrying her. At one point she told me to go get the stroller!

Harper was a pink Leopard. We stopped out to visit with my grandparents before we went out. When we got back home after Matt picked us up, Parker dumped all of her candy out. Harper then decided that she wanted Parker's bucket. So, she crawled for it. Not very far, but she has gotten the idea! I now have to keep my floors clean!

Mickey Mouse & Adam and Eve

Parker being silly!

Us and the Einstein light up wand that cost $20. Man I love my kid:)

Parker watching Tigger bounce.

This weekend, Kyle and I took Parker and Aiden to the Palace Theater to see the Disney Playhouse Live. Mickey and friends were there, along with Handy Manny, Little Einsteins, and Pooh. Parker had a blast. She was singing the songs. Aiden was a bit grumpy, because neither one had, had a nap yet. I also enjoyed the show, but I enjoyed seeing Parker excited more! She was kind of in awe.

We also went to a halloween party tonight. I owe my husband big time, but we dressed up as Adam and Eve. It was a good time. The scavenger hunt got a bit vicious, but it was a good time.

I haven't posted many pictures of Harper lately. It seems as though it is always Parker. Harper is almost crawling. She will get up on all fours and rock. Then she'll plop down on her belly. She gets around pretty good now. She basically scoots and rolls to where she wants to go. It won't be long and she'll be off! I'll post some pictures when she does!

Last Weeks Happenings

Things are still pretty crazy. It is partially my fault. I have become addicted to working out at the YMCA. I go M-Thursday nights for an hour. So my evening is basically shot after I cook dinner, feed the girls & Matt, change clothes, get things ready for the next day, and work out. My head hits the bed and I'm out. I haven't been on the computer much, because I don't have time!
So, here's what has happened lately. We went to Bellefontaine's Senior Night football game. Parker had her picture taken with Erin (my sister-in-law's niece~and Parker's babysitter when I need her) and Erin's boyfriend Brock (he is shirtless, because it was part of his costume) Parker is in love with Brock. When you ask her who she loves, she always says Brock first! Of course she is being shy in the picture. We went to the game with my friend, Christa and her son Austin. They look cute! Parker is actually wearing my old cheerleading uniform from when I was in 2nd grade. It has been worn by me, my sister Jenna, Carly St. Clair, and my nieces, Bailey & Riley. Mamaw Maier took several tucks in it and hemmed it as much as she could. I can't believe how cute she looks in it! A future cheerleader after all!

I love this picture of Parker taking a nap. She fell asleep with her hands in her pockets!

Parker went Trick or Treating with Shelbi last Saturday while I took pictures at a wedding. (my new career!) She was Cinderella. She was pretty scared of all of the people in masks.

Parker and Papaw Ross

Her smile kills me here! I don't get it!

Painting Pumpkins at Church.

So the babysitter has been drawing smiley faces on their hands at the end of the day with a marker. The other night, Parker grabbed on of my markers that I use to grade papers with at home. She was being really quiet (my first mistake). She then told me, "I'm a tiger, rrrrrr!" Matt & I started cracking up (my second mistake). I washed it off and Matt told me that I was mean. He said it was too cute to wash off. So he let her do it again and told her that she had to ask if she wanted to color on herself. Too funny!

On Sunday, we went to Hurley's farm in Huntsville and got pumpkins. We plan on carving them this weekend! You'll have to check back to see how they turn out.

I Can't Believe It has been a month since my last post!

Uncle Luke with Harper
Aunt Rach with Parker and Harper
I love this one! They were saying "Go Football!"
Harper eating her foot. Her favorite past time!
Just couldn't stay awake to take the last bite!
Her shirt says, "Daddy Loves Dirt" (should say, "Daddy Likes to Eat Dirt!")
I love her smile here!
A great photo of Parker and Mamaw Ross

Well, I've been pretty busy this past month! I have been pretty good about posting, but I fell off the wagon for sure. So, these pictures are tidbits of the past month. We've done a lot of things, but the most recent was my sickness. I felt like death last Friday. I taught all day with a temp of 102. I could barely open my eyes, I looked green, and my throat was killing. There were no subs avaiable, plus, I hate using my days for myself! Then on Saturday, Matt wrecked his dirtbike pretty bad and hurt his chest. He tore his chest wall and is moving quite slowly. He too went to work on Monday! What a champ:) Harper started getting sick Tuesday, so my mom (the hero) stayed home with her and took her to the Dr. (I also don't like using my days on my kids either!) (Saving up for another maternity leave:) She had a stomach virus. Now, we are all feeling better. I think.

Parker has decided that she would like to be Cinderella for Trick or Treat. She looks so cute in her costume. If I had time, I'd make her a really nice one, but I don't. Harper is going to be a pink leopard. It is a very warm costume!

We've been visiting my grandpa and grandma Ross weekly now. She is not in good health and it cheers them up to see the girls. Parker says a prayer for her everynight. That's how we saw Uncle Luke and Aunt Rachel. They stopped down to visit with Mamaw. She has cancer and has had it for a while. She's a fighter though. She's had it for a long time.

One day Austin came over and they both had their jerseys on. They looked so cute! Austin is one of Parker's boyfriends! She has many:)......For NOW!

Lastly, I captured this video of Harper playing with her toys on her walker. She is getting so big!
