So, I have no pictures to show, only words.
This morning I took the girls to visit my grandma and drop off her carpet cleaner. We've been leaving Ozzie in the house and he is free to roam all over. Lately, he's been chewing up some stuff. Mainly toilet paper or tissues if he can find them. But occasionally a toy. Today, he was a few steps from his grave when I returned home.
I found a trail of purple dye through my kitchen into the living room where he had chewed up a pack of Rit purple dye that we had planned on using for tie dying. I was able to wipe up the purple in the kitchen, because it was still wet. I swept up the remaining powder on the maroon carpet in the living room. However, some of it had gotten wet from his slobber and began to turn the carpet purple.
Luckily, he didn't go upstairs on the new carpet.
Now, I need the carpet cleaner back!
On a side note, I began potty training Harper last Wed. It has almost been a week and she is doing AWESOME! We did the whole Chuckie Cheese thing that we did for Parker. She gets one coin for pee and two for doing #2! And if she has an accident, she gives me 1 or 2 coins back! After a week week we take her back to Chuckie Cheese so she can spend her coins! We went twice last week just to reinforce the whole idea! So I imagine we'll be back on Friday! She is to the point where she doesn't even tell me anymore. She just goes to the bathroom on her own and tells me after! I am very proud of her and she is proud to be wearing panties!

Finally...some After pictures!
So before you see all of the pictures...I had to share this one. Parker and Harper were helping Grandpa and Daddy install the sink and disposal! Without the central air here, the girls wear very limited clothing!
I still have to get some bar stools for the bar, and the floor trim still needs put down, but other than that...it's finished!
It is the same color, but the flash from the camera makes it look different.
Ok, so now you've had a sneak peak!
The kitchen window view...Before
(we still have to hang the trim around the window and my curtains!)
So, remember the big island thing from before? It had the basement steps under it and a second set of stairs that went upstairs. It also had that wall with a tiny door to the computer room area.
...Before
That same area After! No more basement steps. No more wall!
Here is a view of the fireplace. The sconces on the wall need to be put up. We replaced them with more modern ones.
The living room just got a new coat of paint! And some new furniture! The girls absolutely love the storage ottoman. They lay in it, hide in it, use it as a couch, use it as a stage, use it as a table. It has so many uses. Worth the money!
So, this room you could see into the porch. It had a tiny door that you could walk into the kitchen and really didn't serve a purpose.
The basement entry door is now my closet for cleaning supplies and the trash can! In the bottom of the picture you can see counter top, at first it looked like part of the floor! It's not:)
We decided to keep the ironing board that was built in. It is in the process of being refinished, so I didn't take a picture of it.

Before...
After!

It is our computer room. I also have the girls table and chairs set up so they can watch TV and have a snack, since the dining room is away from the TV.
Harper was doing homework!
So, as you can see, we've been busy! I'm hoping for the upstairs bathroom to be done before I go back to work! We also have to do a little work on the back porch area, but not a major remodel! Then...I think we'll take it easy for awhile!

Ballet/Tap Recital and Other pictures
Parker had her first recital for Ballet and Tap. I wasn't able to get a picture of her in her ballet outfit. She was a purple flower and the routine included a flower pot that she climbed in and out of. She did so well. I was impressed at how graceful she was. After intermission, she dressed up in her tap outfit. They did a song from "Good Ship Lollipop" and "Lollipop" It was so cute. And she knew it so well. She was at the point where she no longer wanted to do it, but after the recital, (And the makeup!), she wants to do it again next year!

The Lollipop Guild!
Harper enjoyed the show, however she couldn't keep her chair down! She just doesn't quite weigh enough!
The girls love riding on the mower while daddy mows. And, Daddy loves to mow the new yard! He let me do it one day and I broke it, so my mowing days have come to a hault for now!
Ozzie waiting his turn to jump!
If only I could've shot this in a burst mode! So, Ozzie got off the mini tramp and Bella climbed on. They aren't the best of friends yet so she is still skiddish around him. They were nose to nose and out of no where, Harper fell off the trampoline and landed on top of Bella on the mini tramp. (She was not hurt) Bella then bolted up the nearsest tree as far away from Ozzie as possible!
He waited patienly below. Matt came around on the mower and stood up. He had to hold Parker in the air to retrieve Bella from the tree!
The counter tops come in on Monday so, I will post pictures of the house then. I was wanting a finished look so I could do a before/after picture!
Happy Belated Father's Day to the Hardest Working Daddy I know!
Here stands my hubby in his crane. He called us up and told us to come down town so the girls could see him in his crane. They thought it was cool to watch daddy work. He was moving a sign at a gas station because they are widening the road.

Father's Day was spent doing our usual tradition. We take the girls to Moundwood and feed the ducks/geese. Then play in the park and get superman ice cream. However, they were out of superman, so we opted to leave! Nothing beats superman from the Town Trolley!
They updated their play area at Moundwood to one of those Amish Pirate ship play grounds and a fort. It is really nice.
