Christmas Pictures

Merry Christmas to all! We had a busy Christmas this year traveling to grandmas and back and other grandmas and back and other grandmas and back!

Here is a picture of the girls by the tree in their matching Christmas dresses!
I just love Harper's look in this one. Her face says it all.
The Penhorwood girls! (and Elmo)
Christmas morning. Parker got a dirtbike from us. Daddy worked really hard on perfecting it including the personalized graphics! Harper loves it too!
Isn't she precious in her jewelry. You can't even see her awful scratch that Parker gave her. (All because Harper stole her coat...but that's another story!)
Mammy got her a personal dvd player for the car. Doesn't she look nubby watching Handy Manny!
Parker being a monkey at my grandma's house. We have all done it! That pole has gotten around!
Daddy enjoying his new present. I got him a plow for his 4wheeler with Christmas money from Dad & Becky. He was so proud. He plowed our driveway the other night when we had a whole 3 inches on it!
I hope you all had a Merry Christmas. Off to our Anniversary trip in Hocking Hills!

Happy New Year!

Animal Kingdom

After we checked out of our house, we headed over to the Animal Kingdom. Our house was only 5 minutes away from all of the parks. We took a really cool safari ride in a jeep like vehicle. We saw elephants, hippos, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, etc. It was pretty cool, because you could see all of the animals.
There weren't a lot of rides at the Animal Kingdom. Parker, Alix, Matt & Brad rode the Dinosaur ride. You had to be 40 inches to ride, so Kyle & I took Aiden & Harper to see Pooh, Eyeore, & Tigger. Matt said the ride was really cool. It was Parker's first real roller coaster. She told him, "That was kind of like scary." He said there were girls there older than her that were crying when they got off. She made him proud!
We watched the parade and watched another 3D show. Disney has the best 3D shows. By far, the best one at any of the parks was the one at Animal Kingdom. It was, It's Tough to Be a Bug. Based on the Bug's Life movie. It was great. Not only did Harper have my hand covering her eyes, but she reached for my entire arm. She had her head burried into my elbow! After that show, we headed to the airport. We landed in Ohio to 35 degree weather and frost on the windows!
Baloo, from the Jungle Book and Parker.
Parker & Pocahontas
Jiminy Cricket.
Rafiki, from the Lion King & Parker.
The Tree of Life. The Animal Kingdom's symbol.
Harper was punching Pooh!
Eyeore looked so sad!
Harper loved their noses!
Tigger, Mommy & Harper.
Goofy, Pluto, & the girls.
Mikey during the parade.
Here's a picture Kyle took of the elephant. My camera was crap when it came to taking long distance photos.
All in all, it was a VERY VERY fun vacation. Mixed with a bit of stress. A lot of walking. A lot of whining. And many memories. We plan on going back again when Harper can remember it!

The Magic Kingdom

The Magic Kingdom was so much fun! We got there around noon and stayed till the fireworks were over. We were able to do so many rides eventhough there were about a gazillion people there. It was Thanksgiving. I figured it wouldn't be that busy. Wrong! I guess people didn't care about spending time with their extended families! It was still a great time though. It was Parker's birthday. She got to wear a badge that said "Happy Birthday Parker". All day long, people kept wishing her Happy Birthday. It was pretty cool.
My favorite moment of the day was when we were riding the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. I had covered Harper's eyes during a show at Epcot so it wouldn't scare her. During the Pirates ride, she was grabbing for my hand. I couldn't figure out what she was doing until she put it over her eyes! She was covering up her own eyes! Too cute!
My favorite momemt of Parker that day was that it was her birthday and on our way home at 11:30 that night she said, "I didn't blow out a candle today". We told her that she did at home before we left and at dinner with the princesses. Then she said, "But today is my birthday. I have to blow a candle today." So we ran threw McDonald's. Got her a pumpkin pie. Took it to our house and couldn't find a stinking candle to put in it. So, Matt found a pretzel stick and jammed it in it. We sang to her and she pretended to blow it out! She's a nut:)
Here's the castle during the day.
I think this was Harper's favorite ride!
Parker & daddy on the Magic Carpet ride.
Harper and Mommy.
Stitch, Parker & Lilo
The girls on Minnie's couch in her house.
Watching the parade.
Finally, Minnie mouse! We had to wait inline to meet them, but it was worth it.

Here is a video of Harper meeting Mickey and Minnie. She was so shy!

The fireworks at the Castle were spectacular. The music and lights were awesome. Tinkerbell flew out of the top window and across all of the people. It was very magical!

Hollywood Studios

Our visit to Hollywood Sudios turned out to be a wet one! We just loved our ponchos! They ran out of kids sizes, so both girls are wearing adult ones that were tied in knots! I almost auditioned for the American Idol Experience, just so we could get out of the rain. However, we would've both had to audition to be able to take both girls with us. (One guest per person) Matt wasn't going to do it and Parker was too young, so I didn't do it.

Here they are with Lightining McQueen & Mater.
Mike & Sully from Monster's Inc.
Daddy & his girls.
Mommy & her girls. We were on the train ride tour. It toured the "Backlot". Basically, where Disney keeps a lot of their larger props.
Mommy, Parker & Harper in front of the Chicken Coope in the Hannah Montana movie.
There is Herbie!
The skulls and bones from the Pirates of the Caribbean.
Mickey signing Parkers autograph book.
Harper loved touching their noses and loved it when they touched her hand.
Our family, plus Mickey!
Handy Manny. Harper loves him!
Leo from Little Einsteins.
Luckily, Hollywood Studios has a lot of their attractions inside. We were able to keep dry and the crowds weren't too bad either. It was a good time! I recommend the Toy Story ride. Matt enjoyed the Stunt show and the Backlot tour.

Epcot

Early morning on the 24th, Matt & I took our girls, and Brad & Kyle took their kids to Disney!
Here they are waiting to board the plane.
Parker looks thrilled to be flying. She did enjoy it though. She asked if we would see her grandma Millie or her grandma Ross while we were up in the sky.
At Epcot, Harper has her ears on ready to go!
Parker still looks thrilled.
All ears!
We ate dinner with the princesses in Norway at the castle. Here we are with Belle.
Parker & Sleeping Beauty.
Snow Whites dancing.
I love this picture of them.
And this one of Ariel with Harper. Harper was a bit confused.

Parker, Cinderella & Aiden
The inside of the castle.

You can barely see the Spaceship Earth in the background.
Ahhh. We've been swallowed whole!
Parker outside of the Nemo ride.
Matt can absolutely not deny Harper here. They look identical!
Alix & Parker under the Spaceship Earth. They loved that ride. They rode it twice! (someone had to potty!)
It was a great evening. I wish I could've explored the countries more, but with little ones, the time is limited and they would've been bored too! Epcot is my favorite of the 4 parks.
