Happy 5th Anniversary to us!

Matt & I spent our 5th anniversary down at Hocking Hills. We stayed just outside of Logan on top of a mountain! I'm glad we had 4 wheel drive, because we wouldn't have gotten up that hill at all! Our cabin was fairly new too. It was just the perfect size and it had a fireplace and hot tub!
Here is a picture of our view from our deck.
The screned in porch made the hot tub feel 10 degrees hotter.
Staying in the cabin, made us want to bulid our house. Now, if we could just find some money! And take our neighbors with us!
On New Year's Eve we visited Old Man's Cave. It was pretty cold, but bearable. Especially since you got quite a work out going up and down stairs.
Two wonderful examples of God's work! I wonder which one took him longer?
The Devi's bathtub. It really does look like a tub too.
There's something about ice and it's beauty.
It made everything look so spectacular!

Just a pretty sight at the cave.
Matt used the camera. He couldn't get it to focus, but you can get the gist of how huge the cave is!
After our visit to the Cave, we received a side by side hour long massage. Matt had never received a massage by a professional. He was a bit nervous. The massage felt wonderful. It was much needed after our hike too!
For our dinner that night, I decided to go gourmet! (Something totally new for me! I'm a casserole girl!) I made Roasted Asparagus with cheese sauce, Garlic Rice, Italian Accordian potatoes, and Crab Legs. To top it off, we had Cherry Cheesecake for dessert and of course Champagne! I must say, not only was Matt impressed, but I was too!
Before we went home on New Year's Day, we stopped off at Cedar Falls. I had never been there to see those falls. They were pretty interesting. A massive flood changed the man made structures in the falls in 1998. The falls themselves only saw minor changes. A very beautiful sight. It was much colder this day too. Hence Matt's coat that I'm wearing. (Don't worry, he brought 2 coats!)
We visisted the Rock House also. It was an icy trip down and back up. But the view was totally worth it. It was a huge cave that was hollowed out. A very rare sight.
View from inside the Rock House. It was so amazing.
To sum it all up:
5 years later
4 vehicles in the driveway that run (truck, durango, old explorer, newer explorer)
3 dogs (Zeus, Sassy, & Ozzie)
2 kids (Parker & Harper obviously!)
1 cat (Cat)
And many more memories to come!
Thanks for being our friend or family:) We don't often get to show our appreciation for those we love! So happy new year!
